Hello We have been taking down election signs and appear that no more left. However, if you have one, could you please message me or take it down. ... See MoreSee Less
If you have any election or political signs left over, consider donating them to homeless encampments.
They are highly weather resistant and provide some insulation because of air pockets inside.
They can be used for flooring underneath tents or outside. Also they can reinforce the walls of a structure. So give duck tape along with the signs. The weather is highly volatile and expected to be very cold. So these can provide benefit. Instead of just throwing away.
Plus they are light and easily moveable.
There are many encampments along the Guadelupe Creek.

I just wondered if anyone else noticed how close Election day and Veterans day are to each other. But there is a relationship.
I salute those that have fought for our freedoms and rights. Without the efforts and sacrifices of our veterans, the freedom fighters, we would not have our democracy. One of the greatest benefits is our ability to vote and choose our representatives.
Our representatives are chosen by the people and then are to be accepted by the participants. Otherwise we would not be true to our veterans and the freedoms they gave us. I hope as our local candidates accept, that our national ones do as well.
Thank you for your service! ... See MoreSee Less
I would like to congratulate my opponent, Re-Elect Kathy Watanabe District 1 2020 for being elected to Santa Clara City Council District 1 seat. With the new council elected for the next 4 years, I look forward to better days ahead for all of us as a more united community.
It’s time to consider how we can serve to the best interests of the people.
I am glad so many community members participated in this election, and I hope they will all continue to stay engaged as I will. I am excited about the future and look forward to continuing to serve our residents.
To all the volunteers, voters and supporters, thank you once again for being a part of this journey and helping create change for the people.
Congratulations to everyone for the success of the 2020 elections. By being involved everyone has won. #WeNotMe ... See MoreSee Less
Thank you to all those voted and supported me. I may not have won the council seat for District 1, but WE have WON the ELECTION! By the rest of the slate winning! We flipped the council and have made history. It is the beginning of a new era in Santa Clara!
The controlling majority has lost their control from 4 to 2 councilmembers because of the wins by the other 3 on our slate (Suds, Kevin, and Anthony). Together they will join Raj and Karen to represent the people far more effectively and fairly! I am so excited about the change, “a Brighter Future For All”
Together, by voting and campaigning, we all have taken back the council and therefore the city. We must always remember the councilmembers are elected to act on behalf of “WE THE PEOPLE” (sound familiar). And so many people are more involved than ever before.
I want to thank all the supporters and volunteers for being a part of this campaign. From the little kids, the youth, my dear friends near and a far, and my parents and family, together we practically won.
As a challenger running against an incumbent it’s terribly hard to get even this close. Yet, we are so close for the seat. So don’t be disheartened but rather we have much reason to be proud. We have made history! We ran such a positive and fact-based campaign by involving so many people with the various initiatives- Canvassing, Phone Calls, Texting, Postcards designed by children, Know The Facts Brochure, managing the bullying and trolls online, ads and so much more. In this case, it was not only my campaign but our slate of candidates. I am proud to be on the slate with Suds Jain, Kevin Park and Anthony Becker. It’s proof that good candidates can win with clean campaigns too.
I am excited and so happy for the future of the city, and all amazing things we can do. I will continue working on my priorities with the new council because I am confident that the council will be more welcoming and sensible.
Please stay involved and help shape the future of our city! You have the facts and issues facing our city. Let's continue making the steps to address those. also check out my 180 day plan as a suggestion of how to proceed.
Congratulations to all of us and congratulations to the future of Santa Clarans!

It's the final countdown to our historic national and local election. I can't stress enough to those 2000 voters in City of Santa Clara District 1, the importance of your vote.
We need you to get out the vote and ensure every single person's vote adds up. Each person's vote may be one, but each of our vote combine for the win. So please vote! .
I am counting on my community residents to expect better from elected representatives. We have great assets in our Northside district, but need to have more qualified people to manage, plan, and ensure the future is sustainable, livable, enjoyable and thriving for everyone. Especially with the significant financial burden and significant housing and population increase in Northside.
Join me to create a brighter future for all !
You can still vote at Northside Library or Levi’s Stadium until 8:00 PM

KNOW THE FACTS...
The Incumbent = FAILURE in Leadership:
- FAILED in financial decisions for our city. $34M deficit
- FAILED To plan for huge population increase expected in D1
- FAILED in the analysis of the stadium deal .
- FAILED to manage the stadium as a stadium authority member
- FAILED to plan for an increase in traffic/parking.
Harbir = BETTER Leadership for ALL SantaClarans.

- Supports CVRA lawsuit to oppress the minority voice, rejects diversity and equality for all.
- Votes in lock-step with majority bloc to support developers and self interest groups.
- Does NOT base decisions in best interest of residents and the future of Santa Clara.
+ Harbir is qualified and would do better job for our future in Santa Clara. Vote for Harbir equals better leadership in City Council and a voice for ALL Santa Clarans! ... See MoreSee Less
"With Harbir Bhatia - running for City Council in the City of Santa Clara. If you think about all the people you know, and you had to think of the person you know who is truly the most “selfless” person, well that person in my life would be Harbir Bhatia. If you live in the City of Santa Clara, please vote for Harbir. Our city need honesty, change and justice."

'Harbir has years of record of outstanding Public service. She was probably born with the spirit of Sewa (selfless service). When she moved to Santa Clara County after college, she and some of her friends organized a Big Brother/ Big Sister organization. My children along with others were their younger brothers and sisters. This added a lot of healthy fun and mentorship to their lives.
I have seen her grow to be a mature and successful public official and volunteer helping in various important social projects. A few years back, we hosted the participants from the National Council for the Social Studies Conference that was held in San Francisco at the Sikh Gurdwara San Jose, where the social studies teachers from all over the USA participated. She played a key role in organizing the closing reception and conference to ensure it was an educational, inspiring, and valuable experience. I have seen her enthusiastically organizing such unifying events across a diverse set of social functions. She believes in creating understanding and building bridges so everyone feels included and a part of community. I endorse her wholeheartedly."
